Our Culture of Diversity,
Belonging, and Inclusion
We believe our strength begins with each individual teammate.
Together, we create a supportive environment that encourages
growth and collaboration. Our greatest strength lies in the talents
and abilities of our teammates. Our different backgrounds,
perspectives, and experiences can help us make a positive impact
on our patients and the communities we serve.
Make the Right Call:
There are subtle ways that we can show our teammates that we care
about each other and appreciate each other’s differences. When we
consider how our behavior affects those around us, we create an
environment where everyone feels heard and valued.
Ask yourself…
How we do the right thing:
Am I encouraging my teammates to share their perspectives
— and letting them know that I value their ideas?
Respect the opinions, experiences, and beliefs of your patients
and teammates — even if they are different from your own.
Am I listening to everyone’s perspectives
and contributions?
Be welcoming and never intentionally exclude others from
normal workplace conversations and interactions.
Am I considering every team member’s work schedule or time
zone when I am planning a meeting?
Be receptive to the contributions and ideas of your teammates.
Speak up if you feel that someone is being mistreated
or disrespected.
