Our Work with the
Government
Our work with government healthcare programs, like Medicare and
Medicaid, is essential to providing care for our patients. We must
follow the rules around working with the government, including
billing, reimbursement, and financial interactions, to protect our
ability to participate in these programs. Mistakes can lead to serious
consequences, including financial and legal risks.
How we do the right thing:
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations when billing
government healthcare programs, including Medicare and
Medicaid.
Submit accurate and truthful claims, following all Ivy
documentation policies and procedures.
Ask for or make a copy of identification from payer and
government auditors, cooperate honestly and fully with
government audits and investigations, document the audits,
and notify your manager and AuditAlerts@ivyrehab.com
should you receive any government inquiry.
