Responsible Billing
Billing for healthcare services is a key part of how we deliver ethical,
high-quality care to our patients. Whether we’re submitting claims
to private insurers, Medicare, Medicaid, or billing patients directly
— every charge must accurately reflect the services we provided.
Even small errors can lead to overbilling, and other serious legal and
financial consequences.
How we do the right thing:
Submit claims that are accurate, truthful, and properly
documented.
Bill only for services actually performed, documented in the
patient’s medical record, and that patients truly need —
remember, we always put people first.
Use the correct billing codes and follow reimbursement
guidelines for government and private payers.
Responsible Billing
Never alter, inflate, or manipulate billing information
to receive higher payments.
