Why We Have a Code and How We Use It
Our Code serves as a resource to help us make the right choices and
stay true to our values. Everyone who works at Ivy — including all
teammates, directors, affiliated healthcare professionals, and anyone
who performs services on Ivy’s behalf — has a responsibility to
understand and follow the Code in everything we do.
Everyone who represents Ivy must uphold our high ethical standards.
Our shared commitment to following our Code strengthens our
team and sets a foundation for our respectful workplace. We’re all
responsible for acting and making decisions that align with our
values. And, in situations where behaviors don’t reflect our Code,
we’ll work together to engage in constructive conversations and
implement appropriate measures to realign with our standards.
Our Code covers a wide range of business practices; however, it does
not cover every issue that may arise. When appropriate, it’s important
that we all consult additional resources, such as our Ivy company
policies on the intranet, when we need guidance on a specific topic.
If still unsure, teammates can submit a ticket to our friendly support
teams with their inquiry.
There are some regions where additional legal or regulatory
requirements may apply. In these cases, Ivy may provide
supplementary Codes of Conduct or policies that address region
specific requirements (for example, those related to New York
State Medicaid). If you work in an area with additional compliance
obligations, we expect you to understand and follow those
requirements.
In serious cases, this could result in disciplinary action or a review of
continued employment. If you ever have questions, don’t hesitate to
ask for guidance.
