If you are faced with an ethical dilemma or a difficult decision,
you can pause and reflect on how to Make the Right “CALL”:
Clarify
Make sure you understand the situation at hand.
Ask yourself...
• Is this the right thing to do for our patients,
my teammates, and for Ivy?
• Are my actions in line with our Ivy values and
the standards of integrity outlined in our Code
or other guidelines?
• Am I acting in accordance with our Ivy policies
and the law?
• Would I feel comfortable explaining this decision
to my manager — or to a patient?
• Would my decision impact Ivy’s reputation?
Look to our Code, policies, or our
other legal and compliance resources for guidance.
Live our Ivy values!
If you are unsure, it may be helpful to talk through these questions
and your concerns with your manager or one of our other available
legal or compliance resources.
